Vilo was born out of the lack of progress in sunglasses design. Having always loved working with wood, we discovered it could be crafted into the perfect material for making sunglasses. Not only is it incredibly light and durable but it's hypoallergenic, natural and highly sustainable. Whilst plastic is a byproduct of the oil industry, wood is grown from nature.
