UBU is a sustainable swimwear brand that focuses on uncomplicated style - functional and fashionable bikinis and onepieces that fit right, look amazing and are kind to the environment. UBU is made for the modern, conscious, active woman who wants to feel & move in comfort as much as she wants to look good and know that her swimwear was made responsibly and ethically. For our swimwear, we use a fabric made from ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon. The ECONYL® fiber is made by recovering nylon waste, such as fishing nets from the oceans and aquaculture, fabric scraps from mills and carpets destined for the landfill, and turning it into virgin quality nylon yarn. Our Turkish Towels are woven in Denizli, Turkey by master weavers using 100% Turkish Cotton. Our manufacturer works with the weavers to provide the equipment needed to the weavers own homes, keeping this ancient art alive.
