Vintage inspired swimwear with a thought for the future. Entering the fashion industry in 2019, we felt that sustainability needed to be at the forefront of all our decision making. We’re at a point in time where it is impossible to ignore the devastating effects that human impact has had on the Earth. We believe it is our responsibility to made mindful choices at every step in the manufacturing and delivery process. The majority of our collection is produced from ECONYL – an innovative nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets. We use zero plastic in all our packaging and were so excited when we discovered The Better Packaging Co’s compostable postage bags! Alongside our respect for this beautiful planet, we also hold great appreciation for the diverse humans who dwell on it. At Triffid, we have a strong desire for equal opportunities for all human beings. We want to use our good fortune to improve the wellbeing of women and girls living in less advantageous circumstances. 10% of all profits are donated to UNFPA - the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency; to assist their mission to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.
