Forged in love. This phrase is at the very foundation of what Ribs & Dust is built on, a love story. Our founder and head jeweller, Simon Goodburn, began to learn his craft (in secret) to build his own engagement ring to propose with. After countless nights honing his skills under the mentorship of master-craftsmen and women, his secret project blossomed into a deep passion for jewellery making, by hand.

Since those early years, Ribs & Dust has grown from a loving sentiment, into a globally recognised brand with a deep connection to their core value - the contemporary creation of modern heirlooms, forged in love. All of our pieces, from bespoke engagement rings to custom pendants, are handmade in our Currumbin Valley studio in Queensland, Australia.
