OUR JOURNEY THIS FAR...

We are a bespoke community with a strong desire for beautiful finishes and textures. We are lovers of the rugged outdoors, roaming ranges, vintage patterns and all things earthly. Once a small trending cushion brand founded in 2009, Pony Rider has now expanded across bedding, canvas and wall art. Designed and developed in Australia and sourced from local and global artisans we co-produce products that make residential and commercial spaces feel like home.

Award-winning Australian made, fine merino woollen blankets, industrial canvas bed throws and bold cushions form the basis of what Pony Rider has evolved into today. With a background in design and branding Kelly Searl, creative director & owner, is passionate about keeping the bespoke offering that Pony Rider is so well known for. Our limited edition collections keep the brand stimulated and the market hungry for unique quality and variety in home goods.

Since the launch of Pony Rider, we have worked within the commercial sector and endeavor to grow this arm of our business, working closely with interior designers to develop unique customised finishes for commercial spaces. Our range of heavy grade linens, industrial canvas and merino wool are a few of the textiles we source to help translate our designs to the world.

THE NATIONAL PROJECT

ABOUT 

At Pony Rider we love our parks, and we especially love our adventures. It’s hard not to feel and be your best self when you’re out in nature, cause every time it just loves you right back. Now we could harp on about the emotional benefits of time spent in the great outdoors, but the truth is simple: when you get out in nature, it will look after ya! We have one body, one earth and they both need to be equally nurtured so let’s do this!

We always knew we wanted to give back, but it was the how that had us puzzled until this point. So, we’ve set out on a social responsibility adventure with the intention of supporting humanity through advocating action-oriented adventures and projects in nature. We’re the first ones to say that we are new at this, and we are not experts in the non-profit arena, but we are figuring out a way to encourage people back into nature which not only benefits our health but goes a long way to preserving the natural and physical environment around us for generations to come. This is a work in progress, so we’re starting with an inaugural project, and a promise that we will add to the programs within The National Project as we grow and can support more.

OUR INAUGURAL PROJECT

Our first project is to fund restoration work on the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Walking Huts, or what we’re calling the Hut Program. Our first hut is called Bullocks Hut which is located within the Kosciuszko National Park.

THE ASK

With your help, our aim is to contribute a $20,000.00 dollar initiative over 12 months from launch date towards Bullocks Hut through one off customer donations and a percentage of sales from our National Project accessories line.

To date, Pony Rider has made an initial financial contribution of $10,000.00 to FNPW to kick off our commitment. This fee covers the launch of the project, an initial contribution towards materials for Bullocks Hut and any working costs. Following the completion of this project, Pony Rider is committed to making regular monthly instalments that will support the restoration of one hut at a time, hopefully with your support along the way!

WHERE YOUR DONATION GOES

All donations will be channeled through the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife and will cover any working costs to run the program as well as essential building materials purchased for individual hut restoration.
