A sunrise is a beautiful start to the day, and was the start to Mountain Moves wearable art too. My Sunrise For Two leggings were the very first custom leggings I designed using a photo I took of a brilliant sunrise view from my living room here in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. A few years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her birthday was approaching and I wanted to do something special for her. I wanted to make her something that would remind her that every day is bright and a fresh start filled with rays of hope. She was healing from surgery and starting to do yoga again, and I thought a custom pair of yoga leggings with that beautiful sunrise image on them would be perfect. Friends (and strangers) who saw us wearing them asked if I would have more made…so I created more designs, took orders, and Mountain Moves wearable art began!

All Mountain Moves clothing and accessories are designed, printed and hand sewn in Canada. The clothing fabrics are eco-friendly and most are made at a fabric mill right here in Canada too. No sweatshop labour in these babies! 100% ethically made and proud of it.
