MINIM was inspired by the impact of music on our everyday lives - its ability to change moods, generate emotions or shift perspectives. We wanted to create pieces that would elevate the experience of playing and listening to music in daily spaces, bringing the idea of a “music room” to any room. We produce timeless, beautiful pieces to complement your instruments and living spaces, and in our content series exploring the daily rituals of resident musicians.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia, we are committed to championing local design and supporting Australian talent, from industrial design to material suppliers to the steelworkers, stonemasons and leather workers we are privileged to collaborate with.

We also believe in business with a purpose beyond profit. MINIM donates 5% of every sale to not-for-profit organisations to support musicians in the community who have come to tough times (Support Act) and environmental organisations helping to preserve our planet.
